Razorz Edge Cafe - Tolar

Located in a converted gas station dating back to probably the 1920s. Fun location, very friendly staff. But the food was subpar. We ordered hamburgers which came on a non toasted grocery store hamburger bun, the veggies were fresh, but not special. The burger was lacking in flavor and overcooked to the point of being dry. The french fries were too greasy to eat. The bathtub of beer was a great idea, but the beer selection was unimaginative (very small selection. Hope they step up the game a bit, this has the potential to be a great restaurant in this location.

We had their hamburgers and they were the bomb The fried pickles were good, friendly and fast service. We will be back, did I mention cold beer

Cozy little restaurant. Friendly staff. I had the patty melt and I'd definitely get it again buttery Texas Toast with a thick burger patty topped with flavorful grilled onions and mushrooms. Husband got the Razor Burger and he devoured it, so I guess it was good.The service was not very fast at lunch (waited 15 minutes or so from order to food arriving) but I guess you can know it's fresh and made to order.The fries were the only letdown for us. When we each ordered, the waitress asked if we wanted fries so we each got a side order. The order was HUGE! Fries came on their own platter (one for each of us) and one platter would've been enough for 3 4 people easily. The waitress could've mentioned how big they were so we could've shared one and didn't have so much leftover. Also, they are fresh cut fries, which we don't love, but I didn't think to ask if they were fresh cut.

Ate here for the first time and I was very impressed. For the lunch time, the service was fast, the folks were friendly and the food was delicious. I had the chicken fried steak with the gravy on the side snd French fries. The steak was very tender and the fries were fresh cut potatoes and so yummy. Hubs had the venom burger- must have been good, his plate was clean. He actually picked a few jalapeños off his burger because they were so hot. We will definitely be back
