Lab Cocktail - Toledo

I had lunch with my friend at the Lab Cocktail Bar during a day trip to Toledo, and everything was spectacular. The service was perfect as everyone was friendly, fast and helpful. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and really pulled us in. We decided to share Grandmother Maria’s croquettes from a mixture of chicken and chickpeas, called “cocido”, Boletus mushrooms with truffle oil, and shrimps with salmon. A delightful mix of flavors and mentally designed combinations that were excellent. We then had Cochinita taco with mango, picked onion and guacamole, which was the best slowly roasted pig I had in a long time. I thought the tuna didaki with roasted pepper sauce was the perfect combination of spice and sweet against the fish. The famous Toledo speciality of Carcamusa, pork, chorizo, peas and tomato sauce. The pig was boiled properly, with a juicy tenderness that was good when paired with the spicy chorizo and tomato sauce. We also enjoyed the Asturian Cachopo, layers of beef covered with roasted corn, and filled with ham and cheese. Every ingredient tasted like I was just delivered, fresh from the market. We could not only choose a dessert, so we chose three to share: death through chocolate cake, rich and decadent, courgette cake with vanilla frosting, tender and sweet, and chocolate cornets with a very generous serving of cream. We loved everything about Lab Cocktail Bar!

Diría Gastro-Cocktelería Tienen una gran variedad de cocktails y el Gin Tonic te lo sirven con mucho mimo Encima la tapa de carrillada estaba deliciosa y el local es bastante moderno

Cenamos ayer después del teatro unas raciones junto con un Rueda y lo cierto es que no lo conocíamos y estuvo genial!! Muy buena atención y la comida muy bien presentada!!
