Hannon's Block - Toledo

The antiques and vibe in the restaurant is very cozy “night life” friendly! Our waitress was so sweet and kind and did a great job. We were sad about our food. I ordered the salmon, medium, with crispy smashed potatoes. I got salmon, well-done, and multiple small baked potatoes- no crispy smash. Everything was hardly seasoned and made it a bland experience. My husband ordered their hannon block burger, medium. He also got a well done patty and felt it was “just okay”. His fries were yummy though! We ordered their cookie for dessert which was very thin and hard. It was difficult to eat. If they want to keep the wafer-like cookie, maybe they could serve it with some ice cream to help soften it? I know they are just starting out so maybe we will try again in a few months to see if they’ve made progress.

Waitstaff is clueless! Received bill for 9 lemon drops and didn’t order one!!

When I like a place, I make it a habit to return a few times at different times of the day before I leave a review. I must say, HB is extremely consistent in the quality of their food and service. I absolutely love the atmosphere as a lover of old architecture, but the staff and food just really put the cherry on top. This place is such a gem!

Very nice inside! Cool atmosphere! Had the CinGin beer and it was delicious! Enjoyed bacon and french fries for a quick lunch!

We had our company party here and it was a great setting.
