In the restaurant right at the entrance there is a display case with various take-away dishes. In two different areas of the room, which are quite bright, there are several wooden tables, with chairs of the same material. The tables are quite large, while the chairs are a little uncomfortable due to the lack of padding. The equipment is made of paper, but the napkins are of good consistency and the cutlery is sturdy and made of metal. On Sunday lunch it was full. We could only eat because we had booked. We tried a fried Ascoli sauce, reinforced with fried vegetables, which was delicious and made especially for us, although the same ingredients were already on sale ready for takeaway. Equally delicious were the gnocchi, homemade, seasoned with rocket pesto. The Greek salad, which we took, was also of the same quality. The staff is simple, but very kind. The service is not fast, at least on Sundays, and this is due to the high number of customers. Prices are modest. Cover charge costs €2 each. In the end we only spent 29.00 Euros for two.
Excellent experience, quiet location, excellent and friendly service. Really good menu and average prices. Location 8/10 Service 9/10 Menu 8/10 Score 8/10
I chose it by chance, looking on the map for a restaurant open for lunch on a Sunday in September. Finding myself with my family doing some shopping at the shopping center not far from there, I wanted a place to eat well. Arriving, I would have expected a place... let's say ancient (since the info stated that they had been open since 1968)... instead we found ourselves in a fairly modern neighborhood. But not bad!!! When you enter, you're basically in a takeaway, then you realize they have a few tables. Restaurant welcome, sitting at the table opens up a pleasant view of the place, with tasteful tables and furnishings, and (given the presence of a rotisserie) an excellent cooking scent in the air. Soon the place fills with people, and this is a good sign. The waiter, who I believe is also the owner, takes our orders very kindly. Even though we had ordered different first courses, we were still served all together, and this was very classy. Ditto for the seconds. I had some really good and tasty tagliolini with duck sauce. For the second course I had a slice of Argentine beef with cherry tomatoes, rocket and balsamic vinegar that was really good and beautiful. Maybe the vinegar was a little too much and covered the flavor of the meat a bit, but overall it was a good dish. The bill...really honest. In closing... I ate very well, the waiters (owners) were very smart, trying to give a superior quality service, in many cases I would say even succeeding. Congratulations... We will definitely be back.
I ate a good lasagna for a quick lunch and found the staff very friendly and helpful. I'll come back and eat calmer.
