Filiberto's Mexican Food - Tolleson

The staff at this restaurant is very welcoming and eager to please. They have a great attitude and are always up for some small talk. It's clear that they are hardworking. The food was served hot, but the Asado chicken burrito was a bit dry. However, the overall taste was exceptional. The slow-cooked chicken is amazing, but sometimes it seems like different cooks prepare it. I still enjoy their food overall, especially the roasted jalapenos and salsa verde, which are fantastic.

I ordered their five tacos which included Asada, Pollo, Lengua, Tripa, and Carnitas. The Asada was flavorful but a bit dry, while the Pollo was also tasty but on the dry side. The Lengua was flavorful, moist, and delicious. The Tripa was cooked perfectly, crispy, and full of flavor. The Carnitas were very flavorful, tender, and had crispy edges. I would definitely come back to order again. The facility was great and the restrooms were clean. I enjoyed listening to the staff joking with each other throughout the day. The Horchata was a bit on the sweet side, so I recommend letting the ice melt to balance it out.

Open late, good food, great prices. Best place to eat if your wanting to eat really late or after midnight.
