Feedback gevenWe went few times to this lovely and traditional trattoria. It 's located in downtown Fusea, a village in the outskirts of Tolmezzo. To reach it we had to drive on a winding road uphill. The stunning views of the But river valley are worth it the drive. The spacious dining room is on the ground floor of a big building downtown. It 's very clean and plenty of natural light comes from the large windows by the terrace. Service is efficient. The menu offers traditional recipes of the area, made with care and attention to details. Meals are prepared onsite and with selected ingredients. Something creative are the 'crostoni ', sort of huge 'bruschetta ' garnished with cheese and mushrooms, or ham and cheese. Tagliatelle with wild meat is a must try dish. Gnocchi are delicious, definitely homemade, soft and light. One can choose among different styles, with sage, butter and smoked ricotta (light cheese), or with ragù (sauce made with grained beef meat, tomato, herbs, some finely chopped vegetables), or with tomato sauce. Among the meat dishes I recommend the 'guanciale with Cabernet sauce ', beef cheeks cooked with Cabernet wine. But I like a lot the "frittata with herbs and mushrooms ', free range eggs cooked with herbs and mushrooms. Salad with roasted bacon is very tasty too. Among the desserts, we tried the home made 'panna cotta ' with wild berries and the home made 'crostata ', a dry cake (no cream) with jam. We didn 't try the cheesecake, but the slices we saw at a nearby table looked very yummy. Hopefully there will be a 'next time ' to try it! Highly reccomended.
Il cibo è delizioso e autentico, tipico della cucina friulana! I prezzi sono onesti.
Il personale è molto gentile e amichevole, il cibo è ottimo, i prezzi sono onesti e il ristorante si trova in un posto luminoso in un bellissimo e panoramico villaggio. È raggiungibile anche a piedi dalla valle con una facile passeggiata di un'ora. Quando siamo in Carnia, è un must!
Bel posto con piatti della tradizione ben cucinati.
Semplice trattoria dal goto autentico, piatti tradizionali carnici a prezzi equi. molto confortevole parcheggio privato.
