Located approximately 15km from Hervey Bay, our first visit to this restaurant was for lunch. It was a good thing we made a reservation as they were very busy. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and efficient. We decided to order the Seafood Platters, which all four of us thoroughly enjoyed. A few days later, someone recommended their Breakfast Omelettes so we decided to return the following week. We were pleased we did because the Omelettes were huge, fluffy, and filled with delicious ingredients, and the Eggs Benedict were also tasty. The coffees were great too! This was one of the best breakfasts we have had in a long time. We will definitely be returning!
Very friendly and helpful staff, we had seafood platter for 2 and everything was great and fresh and they did not skimp on the servings.
We were a bit disappointed in the seafood platter heavily battered and deep fried. Nice garden and dog friendly, the staff were pleasant and the cakes looked nice
We booked a table at this restaurant after being advised that it is usually busy. We were recommended to try the seafood platter, so we decided to order that along with some garlic bread. Unfortunately, the garlic bread never arrived, but it was on the bill. When we informed the staff, they promptly removed it. The food was generally very good, although some items were slightly overcooked, such as the calamari being too brown. The service was excellent, however, we were taken aback when the tables around us and a staff member began criticizing Victorians who come to Queensland for winter. As Victorians ourselves, we were not pleased to hear this. Once they discovered our background, their attitude changed. It's worth noting that Victorians contribute significantly to the Queensland economy each year, so they should be appreciative of this.
