I brought lunch here 2 days in a row, and both times the food was excellent. I ordered the Sweetlip and small chips, costing $11. It's very good value. The piece of Sweetlip was huge, it was so large that it hung out the end of the box. The fish was fresh and the oil was clean. The chips were perfect. The service is very good, but I tried to go there a 3rd day in a row, but I went there about 2:30 pm and they were closed in the middle of the day for about 2 hours. Gladstone is a small town. Next time I'm in Gladstone I will go strait to this fish and chip shop. I wish I could find fish and chips as good as this in Sydney.
