Gladstone Hotel - TOOWOOMBA CITY

I have visited twice in the last couple of weeks for Sunday lunch special of steak, chips and salad for $5. At first I though the steak would be cheap however not so! The steak is excellent and the salad nice and fresh. Brilliant value....More

Went here a few times through out a Hen's party. It was very quite but the band that were playing "special guest" were fantastic. Drinks were a reasonable price and the bar manager was fantastic, great customer service. Everyone should stop by!

Had tea here the other night, and it was pretty much what one expects. A pub meal that was pretty good. They had a girl singing live, sometimes she was ok, other things made me cringe!

This is a top little spot.It was almost next door to where I was staying, and being handy, I thought I'd check it out.I'm glad I did!For a start, the customer service was first class.The young girl behind the bar was exceedingly friendly, incredibly efficient, was selling the hotel's fare with great aplomb and made me feel right at home from the start.The food is obviously good, because there were a lot of diners in that night.Barra was on special for about $15, and from what I could see, the meals looked delish!!I had already eaten, but I had some chips with gravy. (I could have had a ranges of gravies or sauces, but I stuck to the original!)A HUGE bowl of perfect chips and a sauce boat of yummy gravy!I got through the lot, even though I wasn't all that hungry.The Gladstone has a good range of beers and has various ciders on tap.All in all, it's a terrific friendly and vibrant little pub!!The staff are great and I can't wait to go back again!Good work!I'm so Glad(Stone) LOL!(Ok! Dropped in for delicious and affordable fish, chips and salad. Chips were country style and yummy and the service was efficient.
