Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Topeka

I went back to the Dickies in Topeka Kansas because the food was really good but tonight, not so much. The girl at the drive thru did not listen to our order as it was obvious when we got the food home. Food was just thrown into the containers. Pork was dry, no onions and pickles, we had asked for extra. The bread was grease soaked, just horrible all the way around. Very good food for a reasonable price. Employees seem to enjoy working together and are extremely friendly with their guests. Stop in for a good meal when in North Topeka.

The young lady in the drive thru really did a great job. Great customer service. Unfortunately the art of service has been a lost art as of recently. She’s a keeper. My wife and I will certainly be returning after our experience today. I have Cuban que she had the frie and brisket chilli

I would suggest checking your drive thru order before leaving, I have yet to get a correct order. Food is always good just don’t get what I order.

Food was delicious and hot. One of the kids on one of the sides Was not secured properly so green bean juice was everywhere on the bottom of the bag which was unfortunate. No napkins which was kind of a pain but we didn’t ask for any napkins so I guess our fault but it is something that I think should be a given with the type of food served but I am not counting off for it.
