Kaming Cantonese Takeaway - Torbay

My son took me to a Chinese restaurant for the first time, and it was our first time ordering from there. The food arrived quickly and was hot, with generous portions. The chicken balls were the best we've ever had, and the curry was delicious. The rice tasted fresh. The crispy chilli beef was good, though it was more sour than spicy. The pancake roll was a bit bland, but overall we enjoyed our meal and will definitely return.

We waited 2 and a half hours for our delivery, even though we were initially told it would only be an hour and a half. We called to check on the status and were informed that our order was still in the kitchen. This is unacceptable, especially considering that we have been loyal customers for 8 years. The service and attitude we received were shocking, and we were even asked if we wanted to cancel our order.

Whilst the food delivered is generally good, they have 1 major problem. For the second time running my request for no onion in any dish has been ignored. On this occasion I ordered the Duck in Plum sauce, and made it very clear that onions should be left out. Unfortunately when dising up large strips of onion we're included in the vegetable base. I will now no longer use this business.
