Subway - Torbay

The staff at this restaurant are friendly, and the food is basic Subway fare. However, the low rating is due to the disgustingly dirty toilets, which was very off-putting.

I visited this restaurant for dinner a few days ago. The sandwich I ordered was just okay, but it seemed rushed and not as appetizing as usual. There was only one staff member working during a busy period, causing them to rush to serve everyone. It would be helpful to have more staff on during peak times. The restaurant was very busy during my visit.

I frequent this subway location often, and most of the staff are very helpful and friendly. However, there is one female manager who is consistently rude, snappy, and sarcastic. When I asked if I could change the sauce in one of their new subs, she sternly told me no without any explanation. She rushed us through the order and kept interrupting when I was speaking. Fortunately, a younger girl at the salad station was more accommodating and provided the seasoning for the wedges in a separate container, despite the manager's objection. The manager's attitude towards customers is unacceptable, as she is abrupt and talks to them disrespectfully. The other staff members are great, always willing to assist. Unfortunately, the toilet is often out of order, and there are no high chairs for small children, which is disappointing for a supposedly family-friendly establishment. The manager could benefit from some customer service training.

We had a foot long meat ball in marinara sauce, sauce was bitter and disgusting. Asked for cheese, and came with no cheese, meatballs tasted horrible. Ordered food at 16.30 pm, and it came 1 and a quarter hours later, food was only lukewarm. All in all this was a rip off, I would urge people nt to use this shop, I believe a visit from the department of health is needed.
