The Catch Takeaway - Torbay

We love Beverley Park, but this was a let down. What appeared to be frozen chips, not 'chippy chips ', were actually OK. The chicken strips were also acceptable. The hot wings just tasted not quite right at all. The fish of the day on the other hand.... so small and scraggy it was almost laughable. Definitely looked more like it had had its day. Def not worth the £7.75. If I had only had the fish this would not be as high as 3 stars

Ordered food through the Starlight bar app... took over 30mins to arrive, which isn't a deal breaker if the food is good...This wasn't!!! Its by far the worst fish and chips that I have ever had in my life...the piece of fish its an insult to fish to even call it that was so small that my two sons were laughing about it for days afterwards. When we attempted to open the batter we weren't met with beautiful white fish, we were met with oozing oil and grease, the taste was awful and made both myself and my youngest son feel ill...The piece itself had less fish in than two fish fingers combined...when you are charging £6 for the fish on its own, at least have the decency to get it right...its a sad state of affairs when my local Chinese restaurant cooks a fish and chips 10x better than a takeaway at a seaside resort...get your act together guys...you made my son ill, so you will never get my money ever again....

During our two-week stay, we ordered from this restaurant a few times. The service was a bit slow, but the food was definitely worth the wait. We enjoyed all the meals we had. My daughter would have eaten there every night if she could.

During our time in Beverley, we dined at this restaurant multiple times. The fries were delicious, and the generous serving size was perfect for our family of three. I would suggest placing an online order in advance.

I ordered the smallest piece of fish I've ever seen for £5.95 from this restaurant. It was a ripoff! I wish I had opened the package in the shop when I went to collect it as it was no bigger than a fish finger.
