I ordered the new york deli steak burger my daughter the ribs (is a chef special that should be part of the menu). the ribs came out as a mountain, they were plentiful. all foods were cooked for perfection. the new yorker burger is similar to a salt beef sandwich. the mushrooms with the vegan garlic mayo gyozas were excellent. for dessert we ordered the brownie ice cream cream (both vegan) the cream brulee cheesecake (like a cooking special that should really be on the main menu it was delicious). the pub itself is very clean has plugs at the tables, which is fantastic for traveling. parking in front of place is good with many free places when they can get one. anywhere we are visiting, the standards are compared here 10/10
Beautiful, friendly pub in wellswood, torquay. varied menu we went for the homemade beef burgers who were of very good quality and really fill. when they build their own Burger appeal to them, there are a lot of extras and cheese that they can add. I wish they had not been as filled as it would have loved to try one of the desserts on the menu. good selection of cocktails and tasteful botanicals. loved the signed, framed john cleese 'the German sketch of fawlty towers on one of the walls of the pubs.
Very tasty eating, with a good selection of dresses that are good price.
My wife and I recently visited the kent 's with our dinner club for a meal. we are both vegetarian for many years and with the limited choice available selected the roasted cauliflower with smoked gnocchi, spinat and soße. we were looking forward to it, but were very disappointed. the cauliflower seemed quite luscious, with not much to him. also there were only four small gnocchi 'chips' around them, with a small piece spinat. that was hardly a meal. it was just as good that we had ordered a being pleasure. they were the only satisfying part of the meal. the dish was presented attractively, but there was little substance, just a bit of cauliflower and chips swimming in cocosnus sauce. it needed something like lenses, drilling or tofu to give it this substance and some proteins. we were relieved, our whisper was pleasant. next to eating we found the kent 's was very friendly with friendly and helpful staff. However, we are unlikely to come back unless the vegetarian options are much improved.
