Herr Kathe - Torgau

We had read about Herr Kathe on Trip Advisor, and were not disappointed! Lots of menu choices, including many vegetarian options! The restaurant was very busy the evening we went there, which is a good thing, although the service was quite slow. Our meal was delicious, and we would certainly have given it another go had we stayed longer.Nice atmosphere, cozy and inviting.

I've been there with a group of 14. We had a 3 course menu for 17 euros drinks included. Service was quick and kind. Food was good. I believe it's a very good choice in Torgau both with small groups and for people ravelling individually. The place is not big but cosy and welcoming. When we needed something we were satisfied quickly and always with a smile. Definitely recomendable.

We loved the courtyard dining. It's very compact with lovely old rooms inside too. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. The menu is more imaginative than most German restaurants but I did not feel the combinations always came off. Having said that I would go back.
