We were lost and hungry in Torino after a busy morning in the museums so we stopped in Ciro Pizza to have lunch. The waitress was eager to have us sit down (and we thought the bill would be double the listed price). We each had a slice of pizza, which was huge, and 2 cans of Coke. To our surprise, the bill was only 10 euros! The waitress even showed us how to get back to the area we wanted to visit.
The guy running the place was miserable and unwelcoming. We almost left but we wanted to give it a go. The beers were plonked down in plastic containers which was a bit disappointing. The food was average. We had a pizza and a very uninspiring salad. My 'favourite ' bit of terrible service was when the cook put our food on the table (without a word) and left us without cutlery or any clues how to find it! It doesn 't take much to stick on a smile.
