So on the outside it may not seem so much, but the situation is unbeatable. they could store my luggage for me when it was too hard to carry the stairs up and you are so close to everything, there is a phenomenal India square on the road I came away from. also pools in flur. they were so clean. I'm glad to return.

Unmistakably clean, contemplatively simple, in a central location with a fantastic price. I had the single room that has a separate flush with a common toilet and shower. bed was solid, comfortable and impeccable clean. the room was smartly furnished, but not overdue. it is not all that it is not, but it is really good to be what it is cleaner and quieter and sober than a hostel, cheaper and more pragmatic than a hotel. I'm so glad this place exists, and I'm in town next time.

Great location and friendly staff (especially friendly staff.) the rooms are old but clean and the bed is comfortable. the bathroom is small but functional and in consideration of the price completely beautiful. the breakfast in the restaurant is really good.

Fantastic. Stayed at the hotel for four nights last week and don’t have a single complaint. The hotel’s atmosphere is super quirky and cool, and the live music downstairs goes until around 10:30 or 11 so you won’t be disturbed when trying to sleep. We were directly on top of the stage and the sound was not an issue at all. The location of the hotel is perfect. Less than a two minute walk to the Osgoode TTC station and right on Queen street with dozens of restaurants and coffee shops to explore. Our room was small but we had no issues with it. The bed was soft and clean and the air conditioning and blinds worked flawlessly. The restaurant downstairs is also great for breakfasts. This was my first stay in Toronto and when I come back eventually I will definitely be returning.

I had a workshop in Toronto for one night. While looking at places to stay, the average spot was $450+. all I needed was a place to sleep. When I found The Rex, I was a little sketched out by the shared bathroom. But that was my bad. The room was perfect. Bed, a c, sink, desk. Shared bathroom in the hall was great. Very clean and always available. $155 compared to $450+. I also had a drink at the bar and listened to the jazz. Fantastic.
