We indulged in a bowl of their signature sushi and it was fantastic! If you find yourself needing to grab a bite near Toronto General Hospital, this is the place to go!
I tried the dumplings and cucumber sushi at this restaurant and was very impressed. The food was excellent and they even provided complimentary Kimchi. However, what really stood out was the exceptional service. The servers were all friendly and welcoming, and the chef even greeted us at the kitchen door. The owner even took the time to personally check on each table. It was truly an extraordinary experience. The only downside is that the restaurant is small and may not be able to accommodate large groups.
This little restaurant serves delicious food. The Kimchi was especially tasty. They even offered to pack up some leftovers for us, which my wife would have taken if we weren't heading home soon.
Just arrived in Toronto and hungry, A Sushi was a Divine. My experiment was the sushi pizza, a large slice embroidered with spicy salmon and baked with sauce, cut in sixth and served warm. Probably a finger food meant, but I fought with the big pieces and hops. Too much for one should be divided. I then had commands of three roles of spicy tuna, spicy salmon and Unagi (Eel). With six pieces per roll, too much food for one. Good fish, delicious. The service was good, the place was clean. Clientele tended to run to the younger adult set.
Not only is the food really good the homemade kimchi is the best on the strip and a well kept secret! Highly recommended. Doesn't look like anything much from the outside but the food is great and the family who runs it very nice.
