Simply Delicious. Very Fresh. Great quality sushi! Enjoyed our late night visit and fast friendly service! We will be back again and again for sure!

The sushi at this restaurant is top-notch! I highly suggest trying the salmon and avocado roll and the dynamite roll. The spicy mayo is delicious, and the miso soup is also tasty. The service was exceptional too.

Amazing!! It's not the same as it used to be!! I recently visited Akai sushi restaurant and noticed that the chef had changed a few months ago. There is a sign outside indicating 'under new management', so I assume the owner has changed. The food definitely tasted better than before!! The sashimi was fresher and the maki rolls were delicious. It now has more of an izakaya vibe in the evenings. I enjoy coming here with my friends for sake. It's a must-try for delicious Japanese cuisine.

Good got gooder!. This was already my favorite sushi resto for blocks. It was always reliably fresh and thoughtful food. It easily beats any of the packed bloor spots. So I was concerned when I heard it had changed hands. After two diners under the new staff i am delighted to report that the new menu while slightly modern is every bit as good as before and perhaps even better. Amazing!
