Did Uber eats and the reviews are obviously fake or non Trinis my order: boneless chicken roti drink needed to wash down that old dry roti skin, doubles fat bara and dry channa (Randy's isn't that good but better doubles there), Trini Chinese food smelled off, it looked like frozen green beans and other frozen veg dumped into it (Mississauga still best for roti and doubles or Leela's in North York) Don't waste your time in this place. Waste of money.
Very disappointed in the quality and the LACK of taste flavour the food. I had the Ox Tail w. Steamed rice, the ox tail had a lot of fat on it, no season or taste. The rice has zero flavour. Food presentation was horrendous, like they threw everything in the box. Terrible.Dietary restrictions: N A
I'm from Trinidad and this is the only place I eat in Toronto that brings me close to home and my grandma's cooking. I've been coming here since the 90's and the good taste has not changed. Very very very good food and I will always be coming back no matter how far I live.
This place is a key to my survival. My body needs a regular refill of their home made hot sauce and goat paratha bus up as often as possible. Also one of few Caribbean spots with the solo Kola champagne.Ali’s is Parkdale institution
