The coffee at Cafe Canadien was incredible. I highly recommend this restaurant. Adding maple syrup to my coffee will now be a regular part of my routine. The staff was also amazing and assisted me in finding the perfect drink for my taste.

Interesting café, antique style, French style. There were various delicious types of coffee and tea, also delicious chefs. And there were some souvenir cups, coffin and strings. The café is located in old parts of downtown, near beautiful area and staff were very intimate...and friendly. You can take the coffin and then go to the lake. Recomend... In the grim heat of this summer, I and my beloved decision to take some conditioned air and consider the beautiful art on the coffee cup. I was impressed by the huge space and brick interior that suggest an expensive brew. I decided... for the Matcha thought it would be less aggressive than a triple espresso, but a few minutes last I had my first sip of the diluted beer and wondering if it was normal that it hardly taste anything as if they were 1\10 of the amount of powder they were supposed to. So I took my courage and asked the lady behind the counter if I could have some more matcha in my matcha so it tastes more like Matcha and she said JA. Times are hard so I understand people who try to save where they can or maybe they use Fidji water, but I don't pay for a matcha 1\10 from one! I wish I liked this place, I would have bought some of their merchandise for art.

Many parts of the restaurant are closed, but Balzac's is open for takeout. It's recommended to limit groups to 4 people as it was very crowded. The coffee was tasty.

The restaurant has a charming building and a fantastic atmosphere. I visited during the Christmas market and even though it was incredibly busy, the staff worked hard to serve all the customers efficiently. Although some people were getting impatient with the wait, it is important to remember to be patient. The coffee, lattes, and pastry items were excellent. They also have some sandwiches and salads available, but it is not a place for a full meal.
