They accused me of cutting the system with the app. First I sign up for the Bgood email list and downloaded their app. They have all my information and use it for marketing and data mining their customers. In addition, I make all her surveys to get the rewards. I spoke to three staff at the place, including the manager, about how they were acting and they don't seem to care. I refused to take the food after they traded and they asked me to go. Very disgusting customer service training. You don't blame customers without knowing the facts. It is very unfair how they treat their customers when considering that I have recommended them for years to so many people.
For those who usually bring their own healthy lunch, B.Good is a great option for a change of pace and a guilt-free meal. They offer a wide selection of fresh and healthy food options with reasonable calorie counts, making it easy to keep your meal in the 600-800 calorie range. In addition to the health benefits, I appreciate that much of the food is locally sourced, sustainable, and seasonal. I especially enjoyed the abundance of kale in my meal, paired with a refreshing Acai Berry smoothie. The menu includes sandwiches, salads, wraps, smoothies, bowls, sides, and a children's menu. The atmosphere is simple and minimalistic, catering to omnivores, flexitarians, vegetarians, and vegans with numerous meat, egg, and dairy-free options. I will definitely seek out more B.Good locations when traveling in need of a healthy meal.
The fries were found to have numerous black, curly hairs in them, which were actually corn silk from an unclean kitchen surface. Despite this, the Restaurant Manager refused to provide a refund as I had only ordered an appetizer.
I have visited this restaurant a few times before and always had great experiences. However, tonight was a disappointment. It started at the front door, where the automatic opener has been out of service for a month. My Southern Kale Caesar salad was lackluster, with wilted kale, tough chicken, and no black beans or tacos included. I hope they can address these issues before my next visit, or else it may be a sign that nothing has been improved.
The Beet-Ginger Lemonade was only a bit sweet and the ginger taste was very strong. It was made with water, lemon juice, beets, ginger, pure cane sugar, and orange peel. I liked it. The Roasted Butternut Seasonal Salad consisted of baby spinach, butternut squash, sharp...cheddar, apples, almonds, dried cranberries, and a maple-mustard vinaigrette. This was a very clean and raw salad. The maple-mustard vinaigrette tied everything together although it would have tasted a little too raw and dry. Even though this salad had cheese in it, since the cheese was locally sourced, it didn’t taste heavy at all. The Mediterranean Chicken Kale Grain Bowl included romaine, grilled chicken, tomato, cucumber, green beans, radishes, feta, red pepper hummus, mint, sunflower seeds, and a za’atar vinaigrette. The pieces of grilled chicken were pretty good; not too dry or rough in texture. (If the chicken was even more moist or juicy though, it would have been even better. My favourite part of this bowl were the red pepper hummus (which was presented in a string squeezed all around the circumference of the salad — which I wish I had more of — and also the quiona. The quinoa was so soft and delicious! I wish there were more of this in the bowl too. The green beans were very fiberous and tasted like they had just been plucked out of the field. The Roasted Brussel Sprouts included cheddar, almonds, balsamic glaze, and maple syrup. It was served in a paper take-out box. The brussel sprouts were fibrous and very raw tasting so you have to make sure you chew everything thoroughly before chewing. I say this in a good way because it meant that the brussel sprouts were fresh and they didn’t cook it too much — the nutrients would have more staying power. I liked the slight sweetness of the maple syrup too. The El Guapo Burger had bacon, homemade jalapeno slaw, and jalapeno ranch. This was my favourite item out of the five. The burger overall was on the small side though but it packed so much flavour! The burger patty itself definitely tasted natural and fresh. It was soft and tender. The homemade jalapeno slaw and bacon and jalapeno ranch’s heat and slight spiciness made it all taste so good. There were slices of jalapeno so fresh that it was really crunchy.
