California Sandwiches - Toronto

This sandwich essentially consists of a schnitzel in a large bun with sauce. The overall taste is quite delicious, but considering the price, it would be nice if they included some extra toppings instead of charging extra for each one. Still worth trying out.

Love this location! I go there at least once a week after work for my chicken parm fix! The look is different from the other californias but i love it!

I recently visited California Sandwiches for the first time, based on a recommendation from a friend. Initially, I was surprised by the lack of customers in the restaurant, but I soon realized that many people were ordering takeout. The restaurant was clean and spacious, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I tried the Veal Sandwich, which the cashier told me was their most popular dish. While it was a bit pricey at $8.19, it was definitely worth it. The veal was tender and the bun was fresh, making for a delicious and not too messy meal. Despite ordering it spicy, the sandwich was milder than expected but still satisfying. I also ordered the Oreo cheesecake and was impressed by its rich and flavorful layers. Overall, my experience at California Sandwiches was great and I will definitely be returning.

Wow. Wow. Wow. <br/ <br/ Eggplant sandwich, medium spicy is to die for. This is the Italian sandwich spot, if you know, or want to know a good Italian sandwich. <br/ <br/ The place is clean, staff are friendly and the food as per my headline, is simply wow!<br/ <br/

Not a bad wait for the food. All in all was at a table with my order of this gigantic veal sandwich within 5-10 mins. The sandwich itself was absolutely delicious! In fact this pig could easily have ordered and devoured a 2nd one (Oink oink) was told to go visit the original location at dundas and Claremont which apparently is even more delicious. Will definitely follow up on that!
