Chipotle Mexican Grill - Toronto

I really enjoyed the new spicy chicken bowl. The Chipotle app has excellent deals, so I recommend downloading it for some great offers. Chipotle never disappoints when it comes to flavor!

You get what you pay for at this restaurant. The food is tasty, and the staff is courteous. The seating area is quite pleasant. It could be a fantastic addition if they considered adding outdoor patio dining.

The experience here is quite inconsistent. You could visit every day of the week and order the same dish, but because different staff prepare it each time, the result varies greatly from day to day. Some days you'll get a small portion of rice, while on others you'll get a generous serving; the same goes for the meat. Occasionally, they struggle to close the lid on the container, and other times, the food doesn't even fill it to the top.

I was quite let down by this restaurant. When my delivery order arrived, I was shocked to discover that there was hardly any steak, which was my chosen protein. I quickly double-checked and confirmed that it was almost absent. My order was for a salad, and they included barely any lettuce as well. When I contacted Uber for a refund, they informed me that it wouldn't be possible. I had hoped to try this place because I was craving Chipotle, but I was already having second thoughts after a friend shared that he had seen a cockroach running on the counter during his visit.

The food is generally tasty, but I've noticed inconsistencies in the portion sizes for the proteins. The staff is usually friendly, but despite having multiple employees on duty, the service often feels slow, leading to long lines that stretch out the door. One of my biggest concerns is that the air conditioning has been turned off on several occasions during my visits. It got so hot while I was waiting in line that I had to leave. I find it troubling that management expects employees to work in such unsafe conditions. Having worked in restaurants myself, I've seen people faint from heat exhaustion, and this situation isn't beneficial for anyone involved.
