El Pocho - Toronto

This restaurant is absolutely delicious! We visited based on a friend's recommendation and now we understand why they had nothing but wonderful things to say about it.

The restaurant offers delicious food, tasty drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere. The intimate size of the place only adds to the overall ambiance.

Charming outdoor seating area! We visited on a Saturday night at 8pm and had to wait 20 minutes for a table on the patio, but there were available tables inside as well.

El Pocho is a terrific neighbourhood restaurant. It's tiny with a small, curated menu but the food leaves a big impression. Everything we've tried has been very good but the elotes (corn on the cob) and the guacamole are the standouts. It's pretty good for vegetarians, though I'm not a big fan of the taco with the deep-fried avocado. It's a novelty but I prefer the bean taco, which has now become a tostada. (Bring back the taco)! Excellent drinks. Service is low-key in a good way.

Went with my wife on a Sunday, for brunch. We often eat Mexican and found this place offering quite authentic, flavourful Mexican food, with nice and prompt service and st very reasonable prices.Pretty much setup like your small neighbourhood fav restaurant, familiar, easy going.Will sure be back with the kids.
