We had the cod fish cakes, the empanadas (cheese and beef chili), the chorizo, the papas bravas, the fried naan. And my wine pick was also top notch, Spanish Temperanillo. We were the only ones in the restaurant but really it should be filled to the max, the quality of the food is so good! A little gem in the neighbourhood.
This is a great restaurant but it 's actually hard to tell from the way it 's styled/marketed! It 's not quite a tapas bar but in fact features some bomb molecular gastronomy. Delicate preparation. Delicious and innovative. The manchego cheesecake is amazing, as were the artichoke 'buttons ' and cod. Tuna crudo was perfect. Don 't eat meat so can 't speak to that. It 's more fine dining than perhaps you 'd expect from the menu descriptions and tag line . Great service lovely staff and good wine selection. Huge attention to detail in the food. Amazing taste. It 's a small space so either book ahead or go in pairs.
Great ambiance. Tasty food with personalized touch on each course of the Tasting menu. I truly enjoyed this gastronomic experience.
We frequented Hola Cafe when it was on Queen St and had the pleasure of going to the opening of El Tenedor. The food, wine and service are amazing! It is a combination of science and art. A must try!!
Sometimes it's not so bad getting lost in a foreign city and stumbling into such a wonderful dining experience. The ambience was pleasant and the food was delicious. It was an absolute pleasure to get lost. ^ ^
