Hendriks Restaurant Bar - Toronto

For the second time in 2 weeks a restaurant did not have my reservation on file even tho I got a OT confirmation. What's wrong with Open Table? I also mentioned that this was a special occasion (birth day) but the restaurant did not mention this poor pr.

We enjoyed our meal there but we specifically asked for a stand and Hendricks came back to confirm that they get our message. When we arrived there, they said that they were not available for two people and that they were only for six and more parties. So we took a pub table that was offered to us. However, when we walked from the front of the restaurant Hendricks, we noticed on the other side of the restaurant they were many empty stands available to take a party of two, party of four and a party of six. They didn't tell us the truth and I don't think they even tried to put us in a stand because they obviously don't offer anyone a stand, maybe because they didn't want to pay for the extra staff. For this reason alone they receive a 3 rating and we will not return soon.

That was an excellent choice! reservations suggested. When we arrived, they asked if we went to a show at the CAA Mirvish Theatre this evening. We sat right away. Our server arrived immediately and confirmed that we went to the show. Beverage orders immediately removed. Specials explained. Food order before the drinks arrived. Food came as fast as it was great! The food and service were excellent! Absolutely come back!

Great location, great food, great service, great atmosphere! Watch food allergies and your time(if you go to a show)

A friend and I were in Hendricks on the early evening of 18th May. We were immediately seated and given menus and water by our very attentive server, Amanda. Our server told us the specials and we ordered our drinks. We shared a dish of calamari for starters and it was hot, cooked properly and delicious. Our main courses were also piping hot and very generous. I can highly recommend the roast chicken and their pasta special. We shared a dessert and the apple pie was very good. The bubbly by the glass is good value as was the bottle of wine we shared (Wednesday is half price for all wines except the champagne). The food was very good as was the wine but our friendly and knowledgeable server completed our meal perfectly.
