Japan Sushi - Toronto

Some of the best sushi I have had in a very long time! Fresh, generous and delicious. The miso soup was on the house, and our server was friendly and helpful. The presentation platter took my breath away! Just delicious, I will be back!

We order sushi from this place cause it had good rating. When the food arrived, we noticed that a lot of the sushi pieces we asked were not there, they even changed our order, we didn’t ask for spicy pieces only one and everything was spicy, we were not able to eat it, it ruined a really good night, I will never ask from this place again.

I had a tempura Bento Box at Japan Sushi: good hot food with a few small plates of pickles, a bowl of rice and miso soup. Service was good and efficient, recommended.

Our vegetarian daughter suggested we come here for dinner and it was very good. Friendly service, and lots of high quality food. The bento box dinners are about $20 and come with miso soup, salad with a lovely ginger dressing and ice cream for dessert (if you have room). Our waitress also brought us a few bonus items (glass noodles, edamame and one other). Recommended!

We are regulars at this place, I was there the day they hung up the original sign in the early 2000’s. And they shut it down for a week to do a big reno and totally change the menu. Brought friends for the opening week love the addition of the new appetizers. New sashimi style is thick and high quality and we loved it! More variety on the menu with more Bento and combo offerings as well as a big expanded maki special roll menu. They are going to be awesome on Foodora and Uber Eats with this new variety. New decor is SO much brighter (look at my pictures bright woods, patio is nice too. Nice to see a business get better!
