Kenzo Japanese Noodle Restaurant

Quaint Ramen Establishment. The noodles were cooked to perfection and the stock perfectly balanced with flavour and salt. We ordered Sapporo Miso Ramen, tonkatsu lunch and gyoza. The tonkatsu lunch was huge (and yet we finished it.. And then some) and was very good.If you have a ramen craving, this is a great place to go visit. Parking can be an issue but have some parking in the back.

Kenzo Ramen has been around before ramen was even cool in Toronto. I visited the place often when I used to go to Figure Skating Boutique every other month in high school. It was really nice to revisit it again and over the years I have had the opportunities to try different ramen. From what I remember they made this own noodles. It was chewy and didn't get soggy at the end. I ordered the Orochong Ramen (Soy sauce flavoured spicy ramen with chicken and vegetable toppings). When it said spicy, it means SPICY. A kid at the next table wasn't even sweating eating the same spicy ramen so I felt shameful feeling the burning sensation on my tongue. Despite the spiciness, the broth was good and flavourful. I will come back again for other ramen, or to visit their 2nd branch Sonoya in Markahm.

Believe or not, I have never been a fan of noodle soup and never been able to finish a bowl of noodle soup by muself. But when I tried their seafood noodle soup at lunch time, I was completely in love with it and finished all by myself! I asked a light soup not the heavy miso base, and it was done just perfetly. The noodle is still chewy and the soup is so tasty. I highly recoomend this place!The only drawback is that this is a small restaurant, so there might be a line-up in busy hours.

Being a muslim, I'm really not supposed to eat pork.. but their ramen is absolutely amazing. Guilty pleasure.

Didn't expect a lot as it was 10:15pm and needed some food! Surprised by the noodle soup, not oily buy very flavorful! Ended up went back there two days later for lucy. Despite hours on the door, they tend to close earlier than stated, don't wait till the last min to walk in!
