Kinoya Sushi And - Toronto

Good sushi and good atmosphere. For me, the evaluation is a bit misleading. Yes the sushi is fresh and this is a king st w location, but the restaurant atmosphere and experience was not 5 stars. First impressions: menus feel dated. Could use a refresh. We have made reservations. We sat at a banquet table bench. It was quite small for four adults. You wouldn't be comfortable if you were bigger than a size 12. Total experience: The food comes to the table very quickly. Dinner Vibe was more of a quick lunch service than relaxing restaurants. Our servers have changed over the course of meal. That was a little weird. We didn't really feel that way, even though we were good. We have waited too long to clear our table #petpeeve Specific food reviews: Sushi Pizza was too crisp. Everything you noticed. Fish was fresh! Lachs was definitely delicious. Green salad was a big part and fresh! Edamame was salted perfectly, not covered. Pressed, torn salmon was great and a first for all of us! Came here with several employees for lunch. I got the Salmon Lovers Lunch Special and it was pretty good. The sauce in the spicy salmon roll was different from what I'm used to, so I wasn't a big fan of it. My employee got the chicken carage lunch special and I liked that much more. Next time I'll get this!

The quality is fine, but for this price it seems expensive so that a star below for it. The staff is nice, but it's too crowded so they can't be attantive enough and the waiting time is noticeable. Our Sashimi and Role is quite standard; but the beef tataki is a little chew and the university is fish and bitter (even if it is expensive)

Fresh sashimi and rolls were delicious. If I look back, I should have just had the sushi options. The rolls were good, but had too much sauce on it, it was masked the taste of the other ingredients. I can see others who like it.

Had the kinoya course for two and it was absolutely worth it. You are very full by the end of it. Miso soup and salad were delicious. Tempura delicious. And sushi way more than we could handle. Also had the Japanese whiskey which was nice! Good food for good value. Nice environment too with kind servers.
