For $16, I received only half a box of rice, about 10 cubes of tofu, and 5-6 small pieces of bok choy. Aside from the small portions, the taste of the curry was not good at all. I struggled to finish it and ended up throwing away half of the meal. I would recommend trying the baos instead, as I'm sure they are better.
I highly recommend trying the pork belly Bao and the braised beef bao at this cozy little restaurant. Both were delicious. The three cup chicken Bao, however, was not as tasty as the others.
We ordered 2 kinds of dumplings. For some lucky reason l, I decided to cut them in half before eating and found them uncooked inside. They were other customers inside....I didnt say anything, just made eye contact with the friendly waiter and he came to see it for himself. He was sorry, take them and cook them I guess. The view of raw pork in my plate stopped my appetite and he was surprised I didnt want them back. My gf ate rapidly the other kind of dumplings and we left. I thought he would offer them for the disagreement but no. Place wasnt so clean too. I never made a bad review of a place but I thought I need to made one with that experience.
Great food! I got 3 different bao (pulled pork, braised beef, and tofu) and I think the tofu one was my favorite, surprising flavors and great taste! The young woman who was working that day definitely helped me pick the best ones and was super friendly.Technically they offer dining in but it’s very small, there’s just a table with 4 seats or so and it’s quite hot inside, so better as take-out or delivery.
Went to a bao place for the first time, and it was better than I expected. I got a pork belly bao and veggie dumplings, both were really good. I only gave it 4 starts since the location was extremely small with only one table (which was occupied), but other than that the service and food was amazing!
