Modus - Toronto

The most exciting part of a training from work is free food. I was huffing and puffing in excitement when I learned that I can order anything and as much as I want! But of course, I have manners…especially in an up-scale restaurant such as Modus. The price was quite steep at Modus so I had great expectation. The staff was incredibly attentive and entertaining.

Excellent business lunch. Fantastic food, comfortable settings, beautiful design, took clients for lunch all very impressed. Feels like New York restaurant. Well priced but not cheap. Lots of good wines by the glass. Good educated servers, timing the lunch to perfection. Had a excellent fish. I work downtown and travel often to New York, Modus is up there with the top restaurants i know of

Expensive but nice. I like the place and the food...however I admit is a bit expensive, yes the location but let's be reasonable

Modus Serves up a Top Notch Lunch!. Had lunch at Modus yesterday. First off they spared no expense on the interior. Exceptional environment for doing business! Had the octopus salad followed by the scallop dish. Both were top notch. Octopus was as tender as I've ever had. Scallops were perfectly seared. I definitely recommend.

Fantastic. Went for dinner tonight. We didn't have a lot of time so the swift service was appreciated. Definitely will return for a more leisurely paced evening. The room is gorgeous and the open kitchen at the back enhances the experience. Sam, the owner, was a delightful host and Bruce Woods was cooking. His menu is fantastic. My scallops were divine and my husband was thrilled with his duck. This place is a class act. Keep in mind that the front doors are hard to see from the street.
