I just don 't like how they cook things (without much flavor in the food itself and dependent on the tacky 'teriyaki ' sauce...even on sushi! .
Noka was a great experience for us! We usually try much more 'well-known ' restaurants when we come into the city, and trying Noka was very out of our comfort zones! Boy, was it a great thing we did! The food was amazing- I would definitely recommend starting with the hot-stone appetizer- it was very cool! And the sushi was to die for- very fresh and lots of new things to try. Service was average (there was a little bit of a language barrier) but overall, it was a great dinner, and we would definitely go back!
We adore Anika for their fantastic food and service. What more could you want? And to top it off, the prices are very reasonable!
Even though the restaurant promotes itself as an All-You-Can-Eat option, my friend and I decided to order off the menu instead. The tofu was decent, but the salmon had a very strong fishy taste. The portion of rice was excessive.
The rules at this all-you-can-eat restaurant are fair and straightforward. The soup was excellent, but the sushi and tempura were disappointing. The sushi lacked freshness and the tempura was greasy.
