Phipps Bakery Dessert Shop - Toronto

It’s a really cute spot with lots of options for desserts and other sweet treats, however…I was really excited for the chocolate pecan buttertart. Unfortunately it tasted stale. I saw the lady at the counter pick the one at the very back, I guess that’s where they keep the older products and make sure to get rid of those first. Not impressed.

Phipps is so reliably good, our family gets cake for every special occasion! Including our wedding : it's the best cake in Toronto!

Tried to order a cake based on their reviews. They don't answer the phone emails or voice-mails. Lost a customer gained a bad review

What an amazing spot. We walked in off the street and it was an absolute treat. Great staff, very friendly and the baked goods are top notch

I normally don't care too much about customer service but in this case it was atrocious as it impeded our ability to order something we wanted.The person behind the counter clearly didn't want to work there.Might update this review if we try again and get someone better behind the counter.
