Pho House - Toronto

Me and husband dined here and his broth was not as flavourful as he expected it, my meal was very delicious .

There’s s plethora of Pho on GERRARD St. That’s good, but what’s visitor to do?? Come here! (Whew! Relief, after extricating myself from a hot sardine-can-like joint down the street.

Have been here a few times. Small menu choices but that's okay, enough of a selection. Staff have always been very friendly and helpful. I have had the beef pho several times and always enjoyed it, much better than the others in the area. Was not as impressed with the seafood pho.. really like the sriracha chicken wings! They now have a lunch special for $6.99, pho with a spring roll, good bargain!

The worst PHO I've ever tasted. They must serve randomly the natural beef broth and beef stock cubes or powder. It tastes horribly. After a couple of days I still feel the sh... in my mouth. It must be MSG or so me other kind of chemical. I've got sick for 2 days and my stomach couldn't take anything else than water. I've tried the calamari.... The've over-fried them so hard that I couldn't eat them anymore. My advice... If you get the dish with the soup before you add anything to it just taste it as is. If it is salty just return and don't pay for that. The best is to avoid this place.... A good Vietnamese soup should be never salty or served with MSG. The worst PHO I've ever tasted.

We ordered 4 different dishes including Grilled pork vermicelli. The food was tolerable. Everything had a Chinese 5-spice taste to it, which I guess could be interesting for Vietnamese food, but it didn't make it better. My daughter ordered a 3-colored desert drink and the beans was spoiled, we returned it, but didn't receive any apology from the manager. We would NOT go back to this place.
