Feedback geven' 'twas a rainy day dropped in on Queen St. as the menu looked good and was reasonably priced had Great Pho service was excellent.
After being away on a business trip for three weeks, I was craving a bowl of pho like never before. It had been six weeks since I last indulged in this soul-nourishing food, so I headed to Pho Vistro to satisfy my cravings. The broth at Pho Vistro is incredibly delicious, eliminating the need to down a bottle of water to rid yourself of MSG. Slow-cooked for over 10 hours, the beef bone flavor shines through in every bowl. While it may not be the most affordable bowl of pho, I am willing to pay a bit more for a healthier option like the one offered at Pho Vistro. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself is spotless. Despite the 40-minute drive it takes me to get there, I find it worth it every time.
I am a frequent Pho eater, and I must say this is not your average Pho; it is high-end! Just look at that bone marrow! It was incredibly delicious and rich, and the broth had a depth of flavor and complexity. Despite passing by many times before, I had always thought it was just another Pho place. However, this restaurant offers organic vegan broth and options. It was the perfect spot on a cold winter evening.
Menu was pretty limited here. Service was good and quick. Soup had flavour but wasn’t mind blowing or anything. Spring rolls were odd. like an egg roll/spring roll fusion.
This is a Pho place decent soups, but nothing to write home about. Large, filling portions. The Imperial Shrimp Rolls weren't bad, but the dipping sauce was nondescript, mostly just a soy sauce (authentic Vietnamese will have a spicy peanut sauce . The Sweet Potato...Photine was a bowl of fried sweet potatoes with shredded pork(? no sauce (as in Poutine and little flavor.
