I appreciate that they offer a veggie cheeseless pizza for those avoiding dairy. I also enjoyed their falafel wrap and the variety of toppings they offer, such as roasted eggplant. I would definitely return!
If you're looking for kosher pizza in Toronto, my top choice is Pizza Cafe. Their ricotta and eggplant pizza is my absolute favorite in the city - rich, flavorful, and wonderfully crispy without any tomato sauce. I recently tried their falafel, which was pretty good and came with generous toppings. While I wasn't impressed with their Bourekas on my last visit - they seemed a bit lackluster - I still highly recommend trying something from their pizza menu. I suggest going for the whole ricotta pizza and maybe even saving me a slice! Other great options include their crispy frits, poutines, and wraps.
I went to Toronto at 401 and had 45 minutes until I went to Pearson Airport and I was hungry. Where can I eat? I saw Kosher restaurants in Toronto and saw them on the map, a two-minute walk from the 401. There was free parking outside and I went in. There were pizzas, salads, wraps, soup and falafel. I ordered 2 large slices of pizza and a diet to eat Coke, and to go a Tuna Caesar wrap. The food was ready in a few minutes. The pizza, although it was heated again, was delicious and filled. I don't know because I gave it to a hungry soldier 12 hours later, after I landed in Israel! Cost for the whole lot was 18CAD. Not bad. Bottom line... if you're in the Toronto area and have a fast milky kosher meal... seriously consider this place.
There are a lot of kosher pizza places to choose from in Toronto, which is a good thing. We found good reviews on another page and tried it out. We were least disappointed. Both the mushroom and the cheese slices were very... good, and all the costs for both of us, including a drink for me, were under ten dollars Canadian.
If I'm going out for pizza in Toronto (keeping in mind that I keep kosher, of course), I prefer Pizza Cafe. They have my absolute favourite slice in town, a ricotta slice topped with eggplant (and it has no tomato sauce). It's rich, flavourful, and crispy all at the same time!I also recently tried their falafel. It was quite alright, and the topping options were quite generous. Though nothing to write home about, the falafel balls themselves were tasty. Finally, on a recent visit, I noticed that their bourekas are... in need of attention. It just seems like they're not really trying with them anymore, as the ones I saw looked shriveled up and much too small. If you're going to come here, definitely have something from the pizza menu. Better yet, just order yourself a whole ricotta pizza and save me a slice! Other good options include their fries (nice and crispy), poutine, and their wraps.
