Rosina - Toronto

We ordered delivery for the weekend and got 2 orders of gnocchi to share, one with tomato sauce and one with pesto. Unfortunately, the gnocchi was not good at all. It was very chewy and gritty instead of being soft and melt-in-your-mouth like it should be. The sauces were also disappointing - the tomato sauce lacked flavor and was similar to something you would find in a grocery store, while the pesto tasted like it was store-bought with preservatives and not fresh basil. We were hoping for a nice Italian dinner but ended up having to make PB+J sandwiches instead.

Everything was fantastic, from the warm olives to the polenta fries, and the pizza was absolutely delicious. They were very accommodating to our vegetarian requests.

Second time I've been here. Great traditional Italian food, ret service, and a nice atmosphere. Almost too generous servings. Will try to get back more often.

We celebrated our parents' wedding anniversary at Rosina's and had a wonderful evening thanks to the excellent service provided by Fjorentin. He made us feel right at home with his charming and attentive service, reminiscent of the hospitality we are accustomed to in Europe. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with great food. Rosina's is truly a hidden gem.

Our seat location was cold and uncomfortable The service was friendly. There is better tasting and better value Italian food on College Street. The pizza was diappointing. Try it out and decide for yourself.
