Scaccia Restaurant - Toronto

I really wanted something Italian so we went to this restaurant called Scaccia. I tried the butternut squash tortellini which is very delicious and then for dessert I had a chocolate cake which was divine. I would recommend this place for a quick light lunch right before seeing a movie because the movie theater is right upstairs.

Great food & service! A reliable spot for well prepared Italian food with an extensive menu. Kayla, our server was on the ball & appeared with charming service just at the right times throughout the meal. Highly recommended.

Our family ate dinner here before going to the cinema. They gave us a bottle of chilled water and bread to start. The food was very good and came out quickly. The portions are very large and we could not finish. It was a bit pricey. I would split entrees next time. Staff were very friendly. I would go back.

Started out with the Meatball Marinara...excellent (though wish there were 2 meatballs for sharing)...Ceasar Salad was quite good, fresh, some garlic (though I would have liked a little more)...hubby had the Cannelloni, it was excellent and the perfect portion...I had the Siciliana penne....it was delicious!...this is a dish that contains sliced hot sausage and it was hot....I loved it!. Good Portion. Our Server Ali was amazing..very eager to please......I asked for some more sauce as I did find my Penne a little dry initially and no probs, I was given a small bowl of sauce...fresh grated parmesan cheese was also a nice touch...our 2nd meal there and will return again when in that area of Toronto (as we live out of town)

The service was fast, the pasta was very very good and tasty :) The only bad point is because the restaurant is in a hidden place.
