Shatter Abbas - Toronto

Having visited multiple times with both family and friends, I can attest to the consistently delicious food at Shatter Abbas. Even during the pandemic, we made the effort to travel over 100km round trip to pick up their amazing dishes. Some standout items include the Koobideh Kabab, Barg Kabab, Zereshk Polo, and Sultani Kabab, all of which I highly recommend. The only dish I did not enjoy was the Torsh Kebab, as it was a bit too tangy for my taste. Overall, Shatter Abbas is deserving of its high recommendation for its top-notch food quality, reasonable prices, and good service. While they may not offer many vegetarian options, their meat dishes are definitely worth trying.

We decided to go to Shatter Abbas for lunch takeout and got 2 meals: mixed kebab koobideh (one beef, one chicken) and chicken leg zereshk polo (barberry rice). It seemed a bit pricey compared to some other places, but the portions turned out to be massive! It was almost like ordering two small party trays of food.The portion size of the chicken leg zereshk polo was notably big; they gave us 2 chicken legs and a ton of rice. We ended up having a huge portion of leftovers, and we didn't even finish the rice during our next meal.Service was fine, but when my husband went, there was a slight misunderstanding and someone unfortunately took our meal, so it took a bit longer; however, they corrected it right away.

I used to be a frequent customer who always ordered food from this restaurant, but I have noticed that their service and food quality have been declining and the prices keep increasing every time I visit. I understand that prices are going up due to inflation, but their prices have gone up by 30-40%, which is unreasonable. I will not be returning to this restaurant anymore.

The portion sizes have decreased and the prices have increased at this restaurant! The rice was undercooked! We had to steam it at home to make it edible. And why are we expected to tip for takeout orders? Tipping for simply putting food in a container? We will not be returning to this establishment.

Food was yummy. Employees are so nice and welcoming.BUT the MANAGER was VERY RUDE to me and to her employees. I was asking the cashier if it's possible to get salad instead of fries, and with an angry face she unprofessionally interfered and talked to me and her employee in a tough and arrogant way and said NO YOU CAN'T.Parking: A lot of free parking in the evening.
