My husband and I had dinner here last night, 10/08/2017, with 2 cheeseburgers, which included the contour, chosen between the chips and salad. the food was good enough and with a price in the average. for the 2 cheeseburgers (including a salad and a portion of chips) and a beer, we spent about 40 cad (excluding tip). The room is large and dedicated to sports, with many televisions tuned on different sports channels. recommended if you can in the area.
We visited at around 8pm on a bank holiday but it was surprising quiet inside, the staff were very enthusiastic and helpful with advice on the menu, food arrived quickly and tasted great, highly recommend the wings or burgers! Doubt that I'll be in Toronto again for many years but would definitely visit again if I was in town.
We came in here following a BlueJays game. Since most of the people leaving the game are heading in the opposite direction, this place wasn't as busy as some of the other places on the other side of Rogers Center, and we had no trouble getting in to eat right away. The burger I ordered was delicious and filling. The prices were about what you would expect for a gormet type burger. My only disappointment was that when I ordered a burger, the waiter didn't explain to me that Wednesday night was burger night, when the burgers on their main menu are offered at a discount price. I'd ordered a time limited specialy burger that apparently wasn't on sale that night, as when I got the bill, it was full price. I didn't make a big deal about it, since I enjoyed the burger. I would go there again, but I'd take a look at the specials before ordering next time.
This restaurant is downstairs from the Radisson hotel. It is great if you are staying there and are looking for a decent and handy restaurant and bar. Service is good. My friend and I have stayed at the Radisson the last three years for our Blue Jays pilgrimage. Some of the staff at Shoeless Joe's actually remember us from previous visits. Not sure if that is good or bad (LOL). One server told me that she has worked there for 7 years so obviously they treat their staff well. To be able to go for an after game drink and appetizers before heading up to your room it can't be beat. But don't go special.
