We went to this restaurant for their winterlicious dinner menu. It costs $65 per person for a 3-course meal. We really enjoyed the food; it was fresh, delicious, and had an upscale style. We tried the Minami roll and loved the combination of truffle and wagyu beef. The Miso x Caramel x Espresso dessert was also lovely.

I need to come back!!!! Service was amazing, the food was delicious and the atmosphere and ambiance of the place was great! They explain what meal you ordered and checks up on you. I highly recommend visiting this place.

I had three Winterlicious meals this weekend, and this one was by far the worst (even though at $65/person, it was also the most expensive . It seemed like when my mother and I walked in, they sized us up, and decided we weren 't worth any bother. First they tried to seat us at a high-top table that was very uncomfortable. Then they offered us a table next to the kitchen. (The restaurant was less than half full at this time, 5:30 on a Sunday. Eventually (after the staff spent a lot of time conferring we were not-so-graciously allowed to sit at a table more to our liking. But once we were seated, we were ignored, with not so much as a glass of water offered, for a considerable period of time. Eventually we flagged down a server who turned out to be professional and knowledgeable (unlike everyone else on staff . Our meal was a mixed bag: the salmon appetizer and sushi main course were both very tasty and clearly high-quality, but for $65, it was a very small amount of food, without so much as a little salad or soup on the side. The other places we dined for Winterlicious (at considerably lower price points! seemed to care a lot about making sure we had value for our money and a good time. It seemed like the opposite at Minami. No one is forcing them to do Winterlicious—if you don 't want to engage in a positive spirit, then don 't offer it!

Went here for a double date night on a Tuesday. First time coming here. Ambience was nice and romantic for couples. We decided to order a few things to share off the menu.Fantastic quality of food, everything was so incredibly delicious! The flavours were well balanced. The portions are a bit smaller, but the quality was there. The drinks were also great and i would recommend getting their espresso martini, if I could get their recipe and make it, I would, it is so darn good, one of the best I've ever had!The server came by often to check on us and filled the water often. They were polite and pleasant. Pricier for sure, however if you're looking for a nice date night or a gathering with friends, I definitely recommend trying this place. It is also right by the theatre so a nice dinner to go to prior to a show or after.

The sushi at this restaurant is delicious and the decor is beautiful. They treated us kindly for our anniversary dinner, giving us complimentary dessert, a window seat, and a hand-written card. We will definitely be returning!
