The mango and sticky rice at this restaurant were amazing, and they were presented beautifully. The customer service was great, and the ambience was peaceful.

This is a small family run restaurant which has great Thai food. Always friendly and quick service with a good variety of Thai dishes. I particularly like the crystal noddles with a mixture of barbecue chicken and chicken with cashews. The food is very good value for the price.

I hope I am writing a review for the correct restaurant. This restaurant "Simply Thai" is at the same address as a restaurant I ate at last week that I thought was called "New Thai". I even picked up a business card at the restaurant that says "New Thai". My husband and I were in Toronto last week visiting with a relative that lives in the apartment complex directly above Sobey's (grocery store), Towne Dry Cleaners and the New Thai Restaurant on St. Clair East. The three of us arrived late one afternoon (I think for lunch their might have been a buffet service but it had already been taken down) and were promptly seated. We ordered an appetizer of Spring Rolls which were very good and served with a dipping sauce. Then we three shared two dinner choices, one the Yellow Curry Chicken and the other was Sweet and Sour Shrimp. Both of the entrees were served very hot and each had a side bowl of white rice. The portions were generous and the two dinners were plenty for the three of us to share.After our very good meal we got to visit with two of the ladies ....I think one was the cook and the other lady had been our server. I ask about how the chicken dish was prepared and I was told in detail how to prepare it. It was very nice of her to tell me and I appreciate it very much. But I'm sure I will not create it nearly as well as she did. Very good !!!This restaurant may be considered "fast food Thai" but the three of us did have a very nice long late lunch and enjoyed our food selections very much.
