Smoque N Bones - Toronto

Great food and service. Small cozy place. Brought my best friend for a birthday dinner. Quick in and out type meals. Amazing bar upstairs.

I don’t know how to best describe this. It was some of the best food I’ve had in the city. Bar-none it was the worst restaurant service I’ve ever had. The service was so bad. We came in 7 minutes early and were asked to wait outside until our reservation (it was raining). They seated us and got us a drink. We put our menus to the side ready to order, and wait staff looked at us several times.. Never came over. We ordered another beer towards the end of the meal (4 total). They came back with three and then said we’ll be back with the fourth. After 10 minutes we asked if we could get the other beer. They proceeded to tell us that they were out of that beer. They could’ve said that the first time and we would’ve just obviously adjusted that order. It was just so strange, as if it was the logic applied by an 8 year old. I’ve come to the conclusion that there’s only one way to go about this… because everybody should have this food. I think you should order Uber eats to the corner right across the street. Then the food will still be really hot and delicious, but you can avoid the god awful service. Seriously, it was that bad. It got comical. We laughed at how wildly dumb the experience felt. But honestly great food. Definitely recommend the food though.

Tight space but great food and amazing smells. Been here many times and will return again soon. I'd recommend buying plates with the intention of sharing vs ordering for yourself only.

Smoque Bones… is a really nice place the food was really really good. But the place isnt big enough to hold alot of people. We had to sit by the door, and the constant cold breeze was coming in, we had to wear our jackets to eat. Which kinda sucked….
