Sobeys - Toronto

Whilst trying to make the most of this fantastic city we needed lunch on the move and this store fitted the bill perfectly.We enjoyed a delicious Beef Provolone Sandwich (5.99) and a Salami/Cheese(also 5.99). The sandwiches were packed with filling and freshly made in front of you.There are pre-packed available and also hot fillings.

Sobeys is both a market and a place to buy sandwiches and various hot meals. They also have a huge dessert/bakery case and shelves of maple syrup. Trust me...buy your Canadian maple syrup here as the gift shops in touristy areas charge more than Sobeys does. The facility was clean and spacious. And, it was honestly just enjoyable to browse. If you're on the waterfront for a spell, I highly recommend stopping in!

We're here in Toronto on business, but always stop at Sobeys to buy our kosher ready made food. We start with 3 kinds of ready made chicken, then advance to the vegetables of which there's a huge selection. Finally, we move on to fish and salads. You'll be mesmerized by the amount and variety of salads. We walked away on Thursday with 6 salads for two of us!The food is totally amazing, and the service just as nice. Pricing : expensive Coming from Montreal, we find it to be expensive. We understand that ready made, and especially kosher is pricey, but they should evaluate their prices. However, we will always come back whilst in Toronto.

Very convienient to be open 24/7, we went the one on the Queensway where it has a drug store and mini tim Horton. very spacious and prices are affordable.

We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant despite the many negative reviews. We visited here every day during our trip, for three consecutive days, and everything was fantastic.
