Sultan Shawarma and Falafel - Toronto

When I was living in Toronto for a few years, I had a lot of falafels. I mean... a lot. But none of them came close to the falafels I had at Sultan. It opened just down a few blocks from where I lived at the time, and I have been hooked ever since. They are delicious, fresh, prepared right in front of you. I've seen falafel places that actually pre-made their falafels and microwaved them. Not this place. I no longer live in Toronto, unfortunately, but you can bet that everytime I visit I ALWAYS go there...There isn't a whole lot of seating, so I would often get take-out. The service is awesome, both guys I have dealt with have been very friendly and sometimes they will give you a free little falafel ball hot from the fryer to nibble on while they are prepping the rest of your order. :) Great value for your buck, too!

The chicken shawarma plate is absolutely amazing here. Love the chicken shawarma sandwich as well but personally they don't put enough meat on the sandwich. Falafels are great as well made fresh to order. Staff are pretty friendly.

The shawarmas are better than I had last month in Turkey.They have both chicken and beef.I had the beef and it was delicious.

I came to this restaurant for lentil soup! Wow this soup is just right.
