Your fresh orange juice is very nice with just a little pulpe farmers...Harvest salad is full and a great combination of flavors. As a rule, if avocado is included in a dish, there is hardly any there. But not here, get a pretty good piece Chuck Burger is very nice and the bungalow is fuffy. The frits that come on the page are good and also other comments: Very nice restaurant Your milk, products and meat are certified organic and local. The Beet is located in the area of the Junction of Toronto, advertises that it serves fresh, local organic products or if otherwise, Fair Trade. The beet also has a lot of healthy options for carnivores and herbivores. I tried the breakfast Arepa for $9 and it was... delicious and filling, My daughter tried the Smashed Burger, who was a daily special with carmelized onions. She rated it 10/10. The staff was friendly and attentive and the restaurant had a lively atmosphere.
I took a colleague here the other day, as we are both very in local organic and vegetarian foods. The atmosphere is great with a fabulous terrace and the staff was super friendly and very accentuating. We ordered the 'Special ', that was meerrot Ahi...Tuna with a salad of broccoli, cabbage, onions, etc. in a Vinaiigrette dressing and it was fabulous. I saw some of our neighboring dishes and they looked great. Beautiful, fresh, healthy and delicious food served with a great smile. What else could you ask?
Love the menu options. Many delicious dishes and as an article that was not too sniffing, they did it right. A cozy dinner with a friend. Excellent wine selection for a small place. Many free parking nearby.
Unfortunately will not be going back to The Beet. Poor service (slow and no smile or warmth whatsoever, which is odd). Menu is very weak, not many options or interesting ones, whether you're vegetarian/gluten-free or not. I was not at all happy with the small...plates I had or my 50 dollar bill. I would choose Grasshopper on the same strip for some healthy delicious food and good staff. There is absolutely nothing interesting about this place.
