I ordered a pound of Asian Zing w/ Fries $6.50) and a pint of beer $4). My server brought three different complimentary hot sauces from Hawberry Farms of Manitoulin Island. I added each of them to my meal in different ways and they really made things POP! The wings on their own were good. They came crispy and sauced up just the way I like em. The fries were okay. I wasn't really a fan but for the price I wasn't going to complain. Pleasant service. Cool vibe. I'll be back.
Stopped by on a Sunday at noon for brunch and treated ourselves to full English Breakfast and Mimosas. Our waitress was uber attentive, stopping by to make sure everything was fine, refilling coffee cups and generally just being great at her job. Our plates were loaded 3 eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, beans grilled tomato and toast. Filling and tasty. I couldn't come close to finishing everything. Sorry forgot to snap a photo. Looking at the regular menu this pub seems to offer a great variety.
Another British-themed pub serving the expected classics such as fish n chips, pot pies and curry dishes. Service is friendly and accommodating while this establishment caters mainly to the business lunch crowd and after work people. <br/ <br/ Nice decor and a good menu as well as fare selection of beers on tap make this pub a good choice if you're in the area. Good for a meeting spot with friends or if you just feel like having a pint (or two) after work.
Takeout from The Belcher. After eating a double order of pad thai for lunch, my partner and I decided on the Belcher for dinner. I've eaten here a few times but this was our first takeout. After flagging a server for takeout, I was asked for my order and if cutlery were needed. BONUS Sadly the bartender was chatting with guests otherwise I'd have sat for a Black and Tan. The wait was nominal as it was a slower Wednesday. The food was well cooked and flavored. FYI: the fish from fish and chips has a heavy batter.
Great Pub Food. When a pub chooses to use quality ingredients in its menu, you get a better tasting menu. Sure it 's still greasy pub food, but you appreciate the quality of the food much more. Plus fresh hand cut fries. The buffalo style chicken fingers are my favourite. (And for something a bit 'healthier ', try the buffalo chicken ceasar. Daily specials always offer something new and seasonal.
