There is so much to like about this place, I don't know where to begin. The Rude Boy sits on Roncevalles Ave, just south of Dundas St W. And being in the Roncy area, it sees a fair amount of burger enthusiasts. It opened in 2013 and knowing the Roncy area quite well myself, it needed a decent hangout that offered good quality burgers for a fair price.
During a visit on a rainy day in late April, we were warmly greeted by the waitress and quickly seated by the window. The menu offered a variety of enticing burger options, including 'the Sting' and the restaurant's namesake creation, 'the Rude Boy'. I opted for the latter and was pleasantly surprised by the unique combination of peameal bacon, red onions, cheddar cheese, mustard, and a fried egg. The burger was delicious and packed with flavor, leaving me impressed by the quality of the ingredients. We also enjoyed a side of giant onion rings, which were a delightful addition to the meal. The service was exceptional, with the waitress providing attentive and friendly service throughout our dining experience. Overall, The Rude Boy is a must-visit for burger lovers in the area, offering a diverse menu of custom-made burgers in a charming setting. If you find yourself in the Roncesvalles area, make sure to stop by and experience the unique flavors and friendly service that this restaurant has to offer.
This place have the most tasty burgers, the Rudy BBQ is one of the best one. I highly recommend this restaurant. The attention is amazing. Different kind of beers, the only thing left is a patio.
The Rude Boy has a small menu, but something that appeals to everyone. Burgers are reasonably priced for the size and quality. <br/ <br/ Our burgers were cooked perfectly, juicy and delicious with some creative topping combinations like kimchi and pickled cucumber. <br/ <br/ The onion rings and parmesan fries were both great.
Nash and I hadn’t had a gourmet burger in a while so we took a walk to Roncesvalles to The Rude Boy. The place has a casual vibe, a bar and cool posters like this one:. I ordered the Greek Spot (top photo of post) which had cucumber and tomato salad, oregano vinaigrette, feta cheese, pickled red onion and tzaziki. I added a piece of their home-cured double smoked bacon for fun. I thought it had a good combination of flavours and perfect amount of juiciness to the burger.
