The Whole Plate - Toronto

The food here is excellent and very tasty. However, the server started to insult the Ukrainian people with derogatory and very vulgar language. This language was totally inappropriate and hateful. I am so totally surprised that in a district like Roncesvalles with so many Slavic and European customers, that understand the perils and sacrifice of the Ukrainian nation, that this type of inappropriate rhetoric in a public establishment exists. Ukrainian soldiers are fighting and dying for Freedom and Democracy not only for Ukraine, but for Poland and the World. Please show some respect.

Nice quality, casual and authentic take out amazing value! A giant mixed salad plate for $12, great healthy

This is my favourite place to go for delicious food with that incredible home made taste ready to take out! I’ve tried pretty much every single item from them and I have never been disappointed.I was planning to get lunch in any restaurant today as I didn’t want to cook, but then I decided to come back to this spot, that honestly it becomes an instant favourite after you try it out for first time… And the best of all, with more or less $40 you have three complete decent meals! I’ve got chicken meatballs as starters, chicken and pork schnitzels and cabbage rolls as main and even two different salads and dessert… so I got food for lunch, dinner and tomorrow’s lunch as well.I highly recommend to come here and try everything they offer at least once!

Simply amazing take out food spot on Roncy, the home cooked Polish food is SUPER tasty, thr ladies behind the counter are friendly, and the value is good! They have saved me on several occasions when I’ve been too busy to cook or “forgot” groceries. Our favourites: cheddar jalapeño pireogies, chicken schnitzel, potato pancake, cabbage roll.As some other reviewers have mentioned the food is cold by default but I have never asked for it to be heated up (I’m sure they could add some patrons if they did! and it all heats well at home in the microwave

Everything is cold. I asked if they could heat up the food. They said that they don 't heat up food, you heat it up at home ...?? The lady acts like she is doing you a favour by allowing you to buy the food. My pregnant wife also asked if she could use the bathroom. Nothing. I asked for sour cream for my cold perogies (or something) and nothing. I asked for cultery and they only wanted to give me one fork for the two of us. Zero custom service. I don 't understand how they are still functioning like this. What is going on??!!!
